They do not count 8th grade in those stats, but rummel hasn't been the biggest in a while. Jesuit and BM have been the largest for a while now.

Keep in mind that stm has the resources to bring a top flight guy. Coach Hightower would probably love to see one of his guys replace him someday and that would be tough to choose one over the others.
Supporters would no doubt want to see the best candidate available get the job and yhat may or may not be a current staff member
Keep in mind this is a big high profile program and whomever it is would have enormous shoes to fill. You cant assume a guy there would automatically want to be the hc. Lot of glory, lot of responsibility, lots of head aches.

What is the rule? I remember Brady James going from Wossman to WM his Sr yr and play that year.
