Teasers are fun for me. It's not so much the allure of how good the lines look. I know they are not a staple play for a lot of serious bettors, but I probably take this stuff less seriously than most.
I generally have one teaser a week that I put half a unit on, and maybe a mega-huge teaser/parlay that I'll throw a couple dollars at. Obviously it's nice if I win it but it doesn't kill me to lose it. I'm sure a serious bettor would laugh at my way of doing it, but I don't really care. It makes things fun for me.

Well I see Tebow, Boat, Dcrews, and one other guy (forgot his handle) posting about them the most. But those guys seem to be at least fairly successful so keep it rolling

The argument others in here have made against teasers is, why not just do a moneyline parlay?
In the LSU/A&M case, the payout for a ML parlay is less (as of right now on sportsbook) than a 6-pt teaser. A teaser of LSU -1 and A&M -.5 pays -110. A ML parlay pays -113.75. I guess the added risk is, on the teaser, that 1 point LSU lays.

I can vouch that those guys don't do most of their betting via teasers.
I think they just simply post in the thread the most , so it seems like they probably talk about it more than most (which they probably do because of high number of posts - if that makes sense).

I like finding favorites. I don't have problem playing dogs and will bet them but but I like to find good plays on favorites
