I think the week off for Clemson mitigates the Thursday night factor. I don't think the week off for NC State matters much at all. Half the issue with home team's having success on Thursday night games is that the road team barely got any practice that week. The environment is the other half.

The reason I say that is because teams always struggle the next week in a bad way after they lose to Bama in a big game. It is scary, but if you have the balls bet on SMU.

I not saying TAMU is the play. But Im not betting against Johnny scoring points at will.
Me personally, Not even gonna think about it. Too many unknown variables here. is TAMU pissed about bama and come out firing. or is it a let down where they play sloppy. A lot of those. Id rather not play it personally

this is actually a very strong play. they lost 84-0 to okie st, then were down by 60 something in the 3rd quarter to florida st before the game was called due to lightning. savannah just lost to troy by 63, and by 70 to georgia southern. no way savannah sniffs the end zone.

betting a spread like that is so scary. 1 pick 6 or a busted coverage TD and you are likely not to cover.

I just don't see value in teasing high spreads like that. Especially teasing the favorite.

savannah st is the worst fcs team. they had 29 yards of offense in the game against fsu last year. this isn't about miami laying 8 td's, its about betting against the worst team in the country.
