right but originally they were to go off in 2somes off #1 on saturday. now with the rain they are going off in 3somes off both tees. therefore, no tiger-rory pairing.

Not Webb Simpson. I posted earlier when I turned the coverage on just in time to see him cold arse shank a 6 iron on a par 3. Brought back painful memories.

I don't think I have ever see a pro do that. Roy Macavoy was hitting it more solid than that when he got to the range at the US Open.

Years ago when I did some work for the TV networks a few tournaments a year I saw the occasional shank. Mostly with wedges.
