Tiger with the birdie on 17 to get to -11. Rory gets up and down to say at -11.

Westwood had to get to -11. Gonna screw up that Saturday Tiger/Rory pairing.

Tiger and rory both put it close on 18.

If they both birdie how will it change pairings on saturday?

if they both score the same on this hole, they should be matched up together. it looks like this so far:

Singh, Moore
Westwood, Van Pelt
McIlroy, Woods

If one of them birdies and the other pars, it will be (assuming McIlroy birdies and Tiger pars)

Singh, Moore
McIlroy, Westwood
Van Pelt, Tiger

Here's hoping McIlroy and Tiger can keep it up. Would be great to see them play together all 4 rounds this week.

Maybe, hopefully, this is what Tiger needs. To finally have that rush of the challenge of the kid McIlroy and the race for the cup. Not to just play with him, but play with him and beat him. Maybe then he would get that old Tiger confidence back, and if that happens...it's bad news for everybody else.

I hope to hell this happens.

LOL Tiger will fall apart Sunday, He just doesn't have the killer instinct anymore, No one fears him anymore. Wishful thinking though. Rory Wins this one also as well as POY.

I wonder if Tiger has given thought to wearing a pink shirt on Sunday.

And I turned on the coverage in time to see Webb Simpson cold arse shank a 6 iron on a par 3.
