And my streak continues.....
However, I must put in my love for Smart Strike- I had to deal with a few of his two year olds when I was in school, and they were the most even-tempered, cool TBs I have worked with. Just loved them. Glad that Curlin has continued his versatility and durability as a sire.

Yeah, he had a baaaadd stride behind. Since he was coming at the end, I guess he wasn't a fan of the track, because I kept expecting him to be pulled up with that action.

Then I need one for my next show horse
I've got a very stereotypical "hot" chestnut tb.
But I'm drawn to that. I'd kill for a dynaformer, no matter how mean. Those suckers can JUMP.

Aspy you think Chrome will win the thing? I was skeptical for the Derby.

I'm hoping.
It is definitely a good field. But, you never know til the gates open. I'm nervous as hell, though

I have no feeling either way. It has been the first race that I have been interested in that I dont have a gut feeling as to what will happen.

It would be amazing but realistically you have to think the field. Especially considering he would've been overtaken in the Preakness if it was a little longer

It is amazing to me that Chrome has won more grade 1 races and more stakes races overall than the rest of the field combined, and the last wouldn't even be close without Samraat.

Not necissarily. Roc stopped gaining
Don't forget, he also had to move early.
I hate to be mean, but roc has the ugliest head...

This is such a fallacy overall. Different distance races are run differently. ANd if you watch the overhead of the stretch you can clearly seen Chrome taking off again as soon as he sensed ROC coming.

I know. Regardless of the outcome he has to be 3yr old eclipse champ
