India got it done

After the early wobble, yes, India took care of business. NZ escaped Bangladesh, barely.

Still waiting for a big run scoring game, Australia should have the bowling attack to limit WI.

When you look at the two games
Baseball and Cricket
Cricket has less rules and is much more simple than baseball
We just grew up on baseball so it comes easier to us

The Windies are looking good right now but they are chasing 289

Andre Russell had a brain fart and threw away his wicket there. He just had to knock around a few balls and stay till the end with Holder, but he had to be the hero and finish off the match early. Come on Dre!

India Vs Australia should be a great game this weekend. Can’t wait!

India handled business. This World Cup could be anyone’s game. I don’t think there’s an official front runner.

I think England is the most complete. India in the next tier by themselves. Australia has looked really weak by my eye and NZ hasnt played anyone.

Too many games rained out. Hope we see some cricket this weekend with India vs Pak.

Woakes coming in at 3, Moeen not in the side atm, Roy and Morgan with injuries, Root taking wickets, Bairstow hasnt even kicked on yet, Hales and Denly not even on the team. Only seems to be one team with true depth.
Looking forward to Ind vs pak and then Ind vs eng in a few weeks.
Chances are better we have double digit rainouts than anywhere close to 500

Standings after Australia's win against Sri Lanka today:

Pretty much everyone’s still in it except maybe Afg.

Looking like 12 pts will be needed to qualify. WI needed that AUS game and PAK needed the SL and AUS game.
Top 4 seeding might come down to shared pts and NRR. Im sure NZ, IND and AUS will want to avoid ENG til Lords

There’s always the dark horse that gets better with the tournament but England look the part of the favorite. Still don’t know a lot about New Zealand. They’re winning but haven’t been played anyone worthy yet.

Have a day Shakib al hasan. 124 not out and 2 wickets. Bangladesh could make a run for 5th. Quick turnaround for them vs Australia

Holy crap England. The favorite by a large margin now.

Wins by nzl and aus the next 30 hours will all but wrap up the qualifications.
Will be interesting to see who gets 5th and also i imagine there will be great urgency to avoid ENG. AUS and IND play games on the final day of groups and if they get the 2 or 3 they can avoid eng and also get 2 extra days of rest before the semis.
