does anyone think they bite the bullet and trade quintana?

If you are trading Sale on that contract, I imagine you plan on tearing the whole thing down. No point in doing it halfway.

According to Nightengale

"Basabe and V. Diaz" are the other two prospects

This is a huge win for the Red Sox. Third Base is really the only weak spot but Holt isn't a bad option there. Red Sox, Stros and Indians strong candidates to go deep in playoffs

Also Devers in the minors is a good future option for Boston. Kopech is really the main piece that hurts as a power righty in Fenway.

Price Sale Porcello Pomeranz Rodriguez Wright

That's a pretty sick starting rotation.

I'm surprised the White Sox didn't get more for Sale. Moncada and Kopech are big pieces but Kopech might be moved to the bullpen if his control doesn't improve. The White Sox got a top 5, top 50, and two b prospects for Sale. I would like to see what the Nats were offering if Giolito and Robles were both involved in that offer.

Kenny and Hahn are the worst. Reinsdorf needs a swift kick in the arse.

They aren't gonna give up a guy like Dozier on a cheap contract without asking for Urias
