This series could easily be 3-1 either team.
Both teams have blown TWO 3-1 leads a piece, one of those was a 3-0 lead.
You'd expect that from the youngest team in the league though.
This series is going 7.

Possibly, I tend to think it follows last years trend but that's why they play the game!

Crowds have little factor to be honest, I thought the crowd was better in Game 3, and CBJ built an early lead and the Pens still won. It really just doesn't matter much.
When you're winning the crowd means very little.
Down 3-0, the NWA fans easily could have been sitting on their hands, or even getting restless and booing a franchise that has never won a home playoff game and previous blew a 3-1 lead two nights ago.
They were just as loud down 3-0 and there were when the CBJ was up 3-1 in game 3.
It was a difference, and statistically it's been proven home crowds play a role.
Game 5 can't get here fast enough.

I mean, I guess. The crowd had nothing to do with Fleury leaving his net on a dump in with 25 seconds left, or you're looking at a sweep in CBJ and the crowds completely meaning nothing. I mean sure they make a little difference, but it's very overblown IMO. I'd say the familiarity with the arena and surroundings matter more than the people in the seats, again, IMO.

Gonna take Detroit, Colorado, and LA tonight.
Hopefully they all win.

Very true, but they wouldn't have been in that position without NWA IMO. One more look at Fluery's bonehead move from a different angle:

A penguins fan already talking about next season. A telling sign maybe he's given up just like Crosby?

What's wrong with talking about next season or the future in any sport?
I was talking about next season during the World Series.
Not even a good troll, bro.

And Horton.
But truthfully Johanson is the best player on the team, he's gonna be a major star IMO.
If we can improve offensively with some good skaters that can play the CBJ style, look the frick out.
This team will be good for a long while though if our front office can keep it together.

Zetterberg is back for Detroit. Also, Gustavsson is starting in goal. Howard has the flu.

Zetterberg is a warrior, can't believe he's playing

He looks good so far. Probably had to get someone to tie his skates up for him before the game. No way with his back as mangled as it is that he could bend that way.
