For all you sick, gotta bet on tennis types, Ferrer is 12-0 lifetime vs. Almagro.
When Almagro served for the match in the third set, I was about to mock you with the great Vitas Gerulaitis line, nobody beats Nicolas Almagro 13 times in a row. I think he served for it in the fourth set, too, but I was falling asleep at that point. That is the type of choke you see all the time in the women's game.
Berdych was actually a good match for Djoker to have after the Wawrinka match since he doesn't grind, but tends to blast away and end points quickly.

I parlayed Ferrer and Djoker, and I can honestly say that I was never concerned about the Ferrer match. Almagro is a good player, but he is also the biggest choke artist on the tour. By far. And Ferrer is a warrior. I had a feeling he would find a way to win that third set, and once he did, it was ballgame.

Djokovic is -800 against Ferrer.
They played at the US Open and Djoker won 2-6, 6-1, 6-4, 6-2.
They also played last year at the Aussie Open and Djoker won 6-4, 7-6(4), 6-1
The best Ferrer will be able to manage is a single set. If he loses in four sets, he should consider it a moral victory. He has basically no chance of beating Djoker.
And so, yes, I will probably be going in on Djoker at -800

Vika's through to the semis after being down early. Serena's match up next.

Serena just won the first set. Sloane hung in for the first six games, but just got tight here and there.
The things I would do to Sloane.

Looks like its her back not her ankle.

sloane seems to be backing off

1 set all. I think Serena will quit, but she might just try to gun balls for a set and see if Sloane can handle it. Sloane doesn't really seem to know what to do with Serena right now.

She's not taking advantage of her weak serves
Posted on 1/22/13 at 10:10 pm to nevilletiger79
With all of the Serena frustration, I think it's very positive she didnt threaten to go Compton on the linesman after that foot fault
Posted on 1/22/13 at 10:12 pm to tiger1014
No shite. She could have broken that racket over his head.

If Sloane let's this match get away (which is likely as SW will will her way to victory somehow), does her career regress?
Does the same thing happen to Almagro after that brain cramping choke job last night?
