Clijsters took it in straights. You can pencil her in to the finals.

Is anyone cheering for Berdych in the late match? Personally I hope he loses in straights

"Caroline Wozniacki will lose the #1 ranking on January 30th."

How in the world as she been ranked #1 that long? Rhetorical question.

Woz needs to overhaul her game...her lack of aggressiveness from the baseline and lackluster first service games kills her aginst power female hitters..I love her style but the whole consistency midframe does not work against elite power baseline hitters..cloisters is a beast. Who knows how many majors should could have won.

Also, random thought: Rolex needs to pony up and get their name on the nets. Seeing the Kia logo constantly annoys me.

Both rankings make sense once you look at all the stats, records, tournaments, etc on paper, I was just alluding to the fact that she can never get over the hump and every time I watch her I am less than impressed.

Woz has been ranked #1 because she plays the most tournaments and is the most consistent winner despite no major wins and a lone final.

Clijsters, Serena, Maria, etc all play a limited schedule and thus do not accumulate the points. It's strictly a numbers game.

I know the way it's awarded, that's why I said 'rhetorical.' But yeah, I know.

Yeah this kind of pisses me off because it somewhat fricks up the GS's draws.
