Ok for real though...Antonio Brown is the best in the league right now.

The statement in the OP is as ridiculous as the guy who said Evans > OBJ, yet the thread was derailed to make fun of that guy.

Would put him in that next tier with guys like Marshall and Nelson.

Dez is another one that I could see an argument for in the elite category, even though he has battled an injury.

It wasn't homer as hell to claim he's the best WR in the league during his rookie year when Antonio Brown exists?

I'll stand behind what I said. Was too early to say such things, and homer as can be.

If Dez and AJ aren't elite then idk what elite is, especially when Hopkins is in there after just 1 great season

You must've missed Deandre last year.

He went from VERY good to elite this season.

He did have a good second year, that's true. Just don't know how he's now ahead of Dez or AJ. Because he's younger?

He was putting up numbers to suggest he was the best receiver in the league in the games he played last season. Or, at the very least, in the conversation.

Yet, I was a "homer" to make that claim.

Nuke Hopkins?

It's hard to rank the NFL WRs, IMO. There are so many good ones.

Brown put up ridiculous numbers last year.

129 receptions
1700 yards
13 TDs

+

Passing TD

One good season does not warrant such a claim as best no matter what the numbers are. Sorry. It's like saying because Cam will win MVP that he's a better QB than Brady, which would be laughable. Odell is a better WR than Cam is a QB, though. He's has 2 great seasons to show, Cam with one. Point is, I don't like extreme claims without seeing it happen more than a season.
