This how is how the unfair labeling of a player begins. You are witnessing it first hand. One situation has nothing to do with the other...but people will string them together and call him a thug, POS, Nyger and everything else......

Wow.
He's not a piece of shite for stealing bases. I had no problem with that. He's a piece of shite for:

1. Throwing a ball at a fan in the stands
2. Intentionally trying to run into the Cardinals catcher on a play where the ball didn't even come home.
3. Acting like a complete dumbfrick after the fight last night.

Dude, that was a fricking lovetap....was it sorta chickenshit...sure...but come-on

I can't be too critical of a players behavior immediately after a brawl....

Like I said earlier.....Rae Curruth is a POS....not ready to call this kid this after a rough two weeks....I guess we have to agree to disagree

the only thing i have a problem with in all of this is the fact that he is being bashed for stealing those bases.
It's certainly part of the game and he is right in doing so. The Marlins had to know he was going to attempt stealing. Where it could have ended was with the stolen bases. Maybe Volstad shouldn't have thrown at him again, but you never know what Nyger was jawjacking about while he was on first with Gaby Sanchez and second with Hanley Ramirez or Dan Uggla and thrid with Wes Helms. Maybe he had some things to say and those Marlins relayed the message.

I have no problem with the beanings, the stealing, the fighting. I do have a problem with Nyger being a cockbasket on his way to the dugout. What a piece of shite.

The same way. He was pummeled under a 10 man pile and still came out pumping his chest. Thats what I love and hate about Nyjer.. just doesn't give a frick in situations when everything points to the contrary.

Orioles Adam Jones certainly likes what he did:

THE_ADAM_JONES Glad how Nyjer Morgan went out to the mound. He stood up for himself. And tried to knock Volstad the hell out. U have to like that #oleskool

the one where he never hit his face?

yeah that was impressive.

and i had no problem with him stealing 2nd and 3rd or him charging the mound the 2nd time.

what bothered me is how he acted when he walked off the field, and what he did to the STL catcher and FLA catcher in the last few days. That is what makes him a piece of shite. Yesterday was just a cherry on top

he definitely didnt.

that abrasion was from the tip of Pat Listach's helmet after he jumped on top of him.

Only thing I have a problem with is the 10-1 part, frick that. I know they have to stick up for their pitcher but Chuck Lidell has no chance vs an entire defense having to wait for his dugout to back him up. I wish Nyger would have connected with that left though.

I would know better than to act like a damn thug and antagonize the opposing fan base. It isn't WWE, it's fricking baseball.

@AJF

Have you ever been in a fight?

Have you ever been on the wrong end of a 6/8/7/9-1 stomping and come out of it still conscious and able to walk away?

That's debatable....but even if it didn't land, I stand by my statement. Dude went out there with bad intentions....far to many times I've seen guys run out there because they feel they have to not because they really want some.....so end up wrestling and dry humping each other....dude really wanted to frick some shite up...I respect that more than the Snooki, Jersey Shore sucker shot,......to each his own, I guess.....
