Crazy to think how there is usually one dominant guy in tennis at least in my lifetime. Went from Sampras to Federer to Nadal and then Djokovic.

Sampras had Agassi, Fed/Nadal had each other, Djokovic overlapped older Fed/Nadal.

He is still so humble. I want another Novak and rafa final in France

He’s basically the same age as the butt picker

Hard to believe the guy Andy Roddick took a poo on and made cry and quit in the quarters of the 2009 Aussie Open turned into the greatest of all time.

And went on to win that very tournament where it was "too hot" 10 times.

His 2011 version is indisputably the GOAT.

And he's still doing this 12 years later. That's pretty wild.

Exactly. I just wonder does he hang it up soon or keep going for a few more years.

As someone who loves Federer, yes I agree that Djokovic is the GOAT.

Few more years.

He says he wants to play until he's 40 or whatever, but I bet once he gets to 24 slams and it's clear Nadal isn't going to win another (or Nadal just retires), he loses some motivation.

The only reason these guys have won 20+ Slams is because they were all doing it at the same time and motivating each other to be the "GOAT."

In my opinion, at least.

ETA: I said the exact same thing a couple of years ago and then Nadal won 2 more slams, so you never know with these guys. They are aliens. I do think Nadal is done for real this time though.

goatjovic should be clear a couple of slams on nadal if not for covid and that dramatic official who got grazed by a tennis ball throwing a hissy fit.

Great reaction after coming back to a major he was excluded from because he stood up for what he believed in. Take notes, Brees.

I don’t really care for Novak, but yes, he is clearly the GOAT.

I don't think Rafa will win any more majors. I think this year at RG is his last legit chance to get one.
