I always hated those slow, fat, white guys in basketball. All they could do was throw their weight around in HS

And they sweated enormous amounts and ruined your day if you ran into one or had to guard one

There is a difference in flagrant and intentional. Either way, by the 3rd foul, the refs should have had a clue it was obvious what he's doing.

But that's where 80% of my blocked shots came from! Every time a fat white guy put up a shot I was like:

Most fouls in basketball come from lazy and/or weak defensive play.

#6 is pretty bad.

Really? I thought that one was the least offensive, aside from #2 which was bullshite like you said.

#5 should've gotten him tossed or his arse kicked.

#1 He was swatting at the ball.

#2 is just a joke to even call that flagrant.

#3 he looked to be going for the ball, but the guy pulled the ball down. That one was kind of ticky-tacky, but he did put some power behind his "swat"

#4 was a push, but it was #42, not #34. It is a foul, but it has nothing to do with the guy everyone is bashing about being sat/ejected.

#5 is a hard, dirty foul. I've seen players ejected for that shite and I've seen some get away with it. That is the only one that I have any real issue with. It was dirty and uncalled for.

#6 is kind of iffy. He looked to be going for the rebound, but his fat arse couldn't jump high enough. He decided to swat at the players arms. A foul for sure, but not flagrant.

Agree with all of this.

1 was pretty bad

2 was a joke

3 was bad

4 different player but just a push anyway

5 and 6 should have been an ejection IMO

This kid is fat and uncoordinated but learned and is implementing a very important life lesson, "When life gives you lemons, punch it in the dick until it doesn't"

meant #5, not 6. dammit.

i agree with the referee guys' take. Still would've caused some brawls in some places.

Coach should be ashamed for leaving that kid out there if he's that uncoordinated.

You would've been ready to throw down if I did that shite to you.

And I played hard at times, but never came close to that.

I kinda want to punch him in his fatass mouth after seeing him smile after #5.

And most of those were flagrant, there is absolutely zero need to SWAT that hard on a basketball.

Especially considering he didn't seem to be aiming for the ball half the time.

When I played BBall at the rec, it seemed I always either ran into this guy knocking the shite out of people and acting like it's no big deal or the opposite. The opposite being the guy who screams foul every time he misses a lay up like he's in the fricking Final Four or something.

1 and 2 weren't flagrant. 3 and 5 were though. 4 was a different guy, but just a push. Didn't watch 6 because I don't like video with crying commentary and unnecessary and multiple slow mo replays. Also, I thought there were only five so I stopped.

Most of those were just him being a fat, lazy, mouthbreather, nothing flagrant except MAYBE 5....and only that one because the guy driving the lane weighs about 130 pounds.

It wasn't like he was just punching people or something. Annoying? Definitely, but it mostly looks like he was just being lazy and over aggressive after things didn't go his way.

I actually have less problem with #5 than some of the others. I was taught that if a guy is going for a layup and you are going to foul him, the FOUL HIM. Nothing is worse than picking up the foul and then letting the guy get the shot off. It looked bad because he outweighed the other guy by a hundred pounds, but he really did go for the ball. It was just a hard foul.

Some of the other swats, look to me like he got a little extra in them that was not necessary. Those actually offended me more because getting that little extra served no purpose.

All I know is, after the first couple of hard fouls happened, I'd be playing with wild elbows from there on out. He would "accidentally" catch elbows to the face the rest of the game.

When they say "foul him", it means to use your body to hit him and knock his arms with your own arms. It means don't just do a little swat and slap him on the wrist.

It doesn't mean reach with one arm and slam him down from the air.

Not only is that stupid, but you will probably get a technical foul called on you, thus making the play even worse for you, and could possibly be ejected.
