It was pretty obvious that he was bringing his arm down with strong force on most of those fouls. After the first one, it should have been obvious to the refs that it was flagrant.

It doesn't have to be malicious to be flagrant. He's obviously not making a play on the ball.

Exactly what I hinted at earlier. They would beat his arse and rightfully so.

Like ATL said, this would result in brawls in many leagues.

I always hated those slow, fat, white guys in basketball. All they could do was throw their weight around in HS. They were just there to foul.

god I hate fat people.

#5 was especially shitty, and he should have been tossed.

The rest? Uncoordinated fatasses playing basketball. None of it was terribly egregious (aside from #5, obviously...) The refs called the fouls, what more do you want? You want them to call the cops? GTFO.

Fatass will get his comeuppance at some point, I'm sure.

Want the refs to toss him or the coach to pull him. No place for that in High School basketball

You GTFO. That's not basketball, and i don't even like basketball. I do know enough to know that doesn't belong in the game.

The refs should have ejected him or coach should have sat him. He wasn't even going for the ball for crying out loud.

There's a reason this kid plays this way (well, a primary reason among many reasons, at least).

And there's a reason why his coach has him on the floor considering the way he plays.

If he would've slammed me like he did in one of those fouls, I would've reached my hand out for him to help me up and when he bent over i would've kicked him in the fricking dick.

one of them "might" have deserved a flagrant fould. it was just strong men making hard fouls.

these referees could have set the tone after the second foul by t-ing someone up. i would told my squad to start puting knees in crotches and elbows in mouths. mfers would have needed to go to the dentist since they want to play hostile.

gotten into it plenty of times just for taken my space with my pivot and elbows out. people have went to the dentist.

This is what Washington high school basketball looks like

#34 looks like he couldn't make a 9 and under rec team

OH, I didn't know we were playing PRISON RULES!!! YEAH!!!

34 is just trying to make up for his lack of talent against an athletically superior opponent. He is out of position to make the plays, so he just swats and grabs. My HS coach wouldn't have benched me for being a thug in that case. He would have benched me for being a shitty basketball player. Then he would have put puke buckets at each end of the court and made me run suicides until I dropped.

Nah, he's a Teddy bear right?

In all seriousness I would've made sure to 'bow him in the nose.

#1 He was swatting at the ball.

#2 is just a joke to even call that flagrant.

#3 he looked to be going for the ball, but the guy pulled the ball down. That one was kind of ticky-tacky, but he did put some power behind his "swat"

#4 was a push, but it was #42, not #34. It is a foul, but it has nothing to do with the guy everyone is bashing about being sat/ejected.

#5 is a hard, dirty foul. I've seen players ejected for that shite and I've seen some get away with it. That is the only one that I have any real issue with. It was dirty and uncalled for.

#6 is kind of iffy. He looked to be going for the rebound, but his fat arse couldn't jump high enough. He decided to swat at the players arms. A foul for sure, but not flagrant.

I’ve played & coached basketball and have refereed as well; even a little on the college level. Here’s my take on the six fouls.

#1 was not flagrant, but was a hard foul, but I don’t see it as a flagrant foul.
#2 was not even close to being flagrant.
#3 was not flagrant, but again a hard foul due to sloppy defense on a good fake by the offensive player. (After this foul, which was the second hard foul by number #34, the officials should have given him and his coach a warning about his rough play. I didn’t see that.)
#4 was definitely an intentional foul, but not to the point of being called flagrant.
#5 was definitely flagrant and the player should be ejected from the game.
#6 was not flagrant, but again, just weak defensive skill. #34 shouldn’t have been allowed back in the game.

My impression from watching this video is that the white team is not coached very well and definitely has not been taught much at all on playing defense. Lazy

If #34 is all the coach has to put on the floor, he must be in bad shape.

Agreed. The coach seems to have a "they can't defend very well, so I'll just tell them to swat/foul and hope they get lucky breaks from time to time" mentality.
