The reason he retired is Paterno told him he would never succeed him as head coach. Access to Penn State athletic facilities were granted by administration, not Paterno. Fact.

Either Joe Pa:
1. Knew and didn't do anything about it, or
2. Was so far removed from running his program that he had no clue that a coach was molesting kids in his locker room

Hold on i know several people that were medically DQ'd and the schools found a way to keep them in school either as managers or other similar things - which did free up an 85 scholly
