I think we’re on the same page of “why not use all aspects”. If you look at the best offensive outputs in the modern era they happened with some infusion of both traditional and I’ll call it “money ball” approaches are used together. The error is thinking that all trends are better overall when there’s no data to support that. There have been many trends that bubble up but are inferior across all sports so that logic is faulty on its face.
