NIL - what happens to teams that rely on these rogue boosters to fund their programs

Who replaces a Cody Campbell with Texas Tech?
Who replaces a Mark Cuban with Indiana?
Who replaces a Todd Graves or that guy on the west coast helping LSU?

You can't assume that other donors with deep pockets are in the pipeline to replace those guys.

these are major conference teams that get on national tv games... they'll find investors whether they're connected to those schools or not.

if these were guys funding MAC or FCS teams for vanity you'd have a point... but these are billionaires doing it for business reasons.

i get it, everyone thought new powerhouses would rise up, but the money got too big for that, and money is attracted to money.
