Yeah, your typical conservative might be buying their golf polos, but the market is so saturated on those you don't have to buy Nike's at $70 a pop. They aren't buying sneakers typically. They aren't their base.
Nike made a business decision and it seems to work out for them.

People in this thread celebrating kaep’s Actions really don’t make any sense to me.
Him disrespecting the flag seems to get the “woke” guys all excited on this board. Why?

Yep. At least this makes sense, however pathetic, compared to Gillette or Oreos

That's a lie. You're waiting for your mommy to finish cleaning your and1 shorts. Be careful she just took them out of the dryer they're still hot!

Yeah I almost made this same comparison.
Nike did it well. Gillette targeted the wrong base.

Woah...woah. Please be careful how you address my sommelier.

He wouldn't have the temerity nor the ostentatiousness to direct that sort of vernacular to my face.

The lack of gumption and overall fake pugilistic tendencies on these forums is completely dumbfounding.

Great move by Nike.
Melt bitches.

Nike is doing some great marketing with these shoes. I seriously doubt a multi billion dollar company let this pussywhipped lightskin make any real decision on this. Use his stupidity to create a “controversy”, release the shoes at double to triple the price and profit even further on shoes that cost about $6.37 to make.

I don't hate anyone.
Kaep is a pandering fig and people who get triggered by him are dumb.
In America, kaep/rapinoe have the right to kneel/protest for the anthem, you have the right to get so very upset because of it, and I have the right to laugh at you for getting so worked up over something that affects our daily lives exactly 0. Freedom is great.
It's so very lol worthy that you seem to think that's so absurd of a belief that you keep calling me a middleman as some sort of insult
Continuing to “not care” and just ignore it has led to the crazies getting a lot of policies and even laws in some cases changed to agree with their batshit views

Tell me more about how melting on a message board prevents this.
If people truly care, complain to your representatives in the state legislature or in Congress.
What policies and laws are we talking about anyways?

There are hundreds I could name. If the sane normal people actually stood up with the same vigor as the crazy people, instead of “not caring and moving on” these things wouldn’t happen
Used to be ignoring them worked and people just called them crazy. Now the media takes their message as main stream opinion and reality reflects their opinions
It’s actually time for us normal folk to get vocal instead of people lazy fricks

Another example, the Papa Johns fiasco
He was fired for saying the n-bomb in a narrative setting in a board meeting. We all agreed that’s is retarded, but all said “you just can’t say that these days”
We officially let the dumb vocal crazies change the way the smarter logical majority functions just because it’s easier that way. It’s so backwards
