First off, I thought Conley played better than Teague last year and was at the time a better player.

Second off, you know if you saw David Lighty playing in the league right now you would take him over anyone on the Hawks.

I didn't know Spike Lee was a Celtics fan.

I remember some poster said that he was horrible in high school. Hard to believe he has become so skilled down low. And makes you wonder how Howard has never become a polished post player.

Another incredible close-out to a Hawks 1st half.

Yeah, we definitely know how to close out quarters which might be the most important momentum indicator

Yeah, but he was a pudgy kid. Probably really out of shape. I think I remember hearing he didn't even start.

This does not look like a future NBA star to me.

It didn't help that he was like 300 pounds plus and tried to play like a guard.

He still won a few Mr. Basketball awards in Tennessee.

Gasol was drafted very late (48th pick) as a 7-footer. NBA scouts must have hated his athleticism. Talk about a guy who grew into his body.

Grizz GM on the radio said Marc would've been a lottery pick if he came out a year later.

Interesting. The Rockets had a similar situation with Donatas Montejunas (who is finally playing well). Euro scouting really seems to be a toss-up, with some glaring weaknesses. Because there is no harm in drafting those guys before they are ready since you can keep them stashed overseas.

If you've seen offseason photos of the Gasol brothers, neither still do.

Cavs going to complete sit. LeBron is such a shite head.

Report out that they are ignoring play calls and talking about Blatt's issues openly with opponents.

[Wojnarowski] The Cavaliers have witnessed LeBron James the businessman, not the leader he promised to be. LeBron and Rich Paul have used their influence to get Tristan Thompson paid (turned down 4yrs/$52 million extension) and push Mark Jackson as a head coaching hire.
