Because McNeese is ranked higher has stronger SOS and other computer numbers
Neither will be champion so they’ll be at larges Nicholls just finally got ranked whereas McNeese has been for multiple weeks and keeps climbing

McNesse is 19th
Nicholls beat McNesse Head to Head
Nicholls would be 9-2 with a 8-1 Conference Record

McNesse is not getting in over Nicholls if Nicholls wins tonight.

The Coaches poll is not a good poll to use the STATS poll is the better indicator as its been official poll and uses admins writers from all over
Also the Massey Sagarin both have McNeese at least 10 spots higher

I do not disagree with you but as I have been saying for 3 weeks the committee and others don’t respect Nicholls for some reason. It’s absurd

No doubt. It’s been pretty ridiculous. I don’t see how they can be penalized for not playing UCA when it was out of their control. I can only think a tight loss at aTm helps them, but getting blown out @ SHSU may end up as a wash. Hopefully the Colonels can pull out a win and maybe impress some committee members that might be tuned in on ESPN3.
