Hitch got fired because his goalies suck. The Blues have a team save % of .887, the worst in the NHL. They are one of five teams below 900, and the only one below 890. If the Blues had a league average save % of 909, they would have given up about 30 less goals.

if mike smith is in net for AZ he could catch fire and give Chicago hell. He plays on a dogshit team but there are statistics that frame him as the best goaltender in the league (saves per 60 minutes)
but Chi has lost 3 in a row, and SHOULD win easily
Vancouver can be a tough place to play but I think SJ wins

Hitch got fired, because Army gave him a weak arse roster to play with. And having that Dildo Yeo on staff to take over next season was 100% failure.
The team quit listening to Hitch months ago, and Yeo was getting involved.
Stillman needs to get on the ball and look for his next GM, immediately. You cannot let that moron Armstrong make deals with assets, he's proven he has no clue.
Hitch should of been fired or not resigned this past off season, it was a stupid move by Armstrong.

That was frustrating. Also frustrating is that Benn had a one on one on a 5-3 shorthanded break away and couldn't find the net.

What's ya'll think of the hit on Jason Spezza?
Looked like he lowered his shoulder into him, but I've seen some say it was a clean.
To me, it looked a lot like that hit Eakin put on Lundqvist earlier that got him four games, but was wondering what everyone else thought.
