They are getting good chances, but I don't think it compares to game 6. They're at half their shot total from Game 6 through two periods. The Habs' defense is indeed doing a better job of keeping the pucks off net. I don't think this is going to be a 1-0 final. Montreal needs another one to win it. Could be looking at OT as well. The bottom line is the Caps' prolific offense is not doing it's job. You don't get paid by the shot, goals are what ultimately matter. They found all sorts of ways to score in the regular season and have one period to do so here or it's going to be a long off season for them. Halak is good, but he's not that good.

Yeah, I meant to type "aren't" not "are". Game 6, the Caps should've won by five goals. This game, not as much. It's been more the Habs playing D than Halak just making absurd save after save.

Seriously, if the Caps manage to lose this one, it'll be the biggest kick in the nuts a D.C. team has given me. And that's saying alot because there has been alot of failure since for the past 15 years.

First, he was pushed in by the defender. Secondly, the contact was minimal. You cannot waive that goal off.

the officiating has become so uneven over the last 3-4 years...Baloo you've got no idea how it used to be...the new NHL is like the NBA they want more goals...
