Time to resurrect the thread. It'll be interesting to see what kind of effect, if any, the layoff has had on the teams. I expect Chicago to take this one, but think the Flyers will give them a good game. Pronger should be able to limit Byfugilen's production, but you've still got the problem of Kane and Toews to deal with. Philly's physical style should help them, but Leighton has to be prepared to stop a few breakaways and odd man rushes b/c Chicago's speed is ridiculous. I'm thinking 3-2 Hawks (maybe 4-2 if they hit an ENG at the end).

Hell of a first period. Chicago seemed to relax a little bit after that SH goal; can't do that against the Flyers. If the first period is any indication, this is going to be a heck of a series.

Leighton was getting owned. If not for the Flyers having scored 4, he would've been pulled earlier IMO. Niemi hasn't played too well, but Leighton was just awful. Chicago has to feel pretty good about this one. They've been been in the box 4 times to 0 for the Flyers, given up 4 goals, and are being outshot by a large margin...but they're winning.

Wow. What a game. 10 goals and neither team has been up by more than 1. Constant swings in momentum and seemingly no defense/goaltending. Definitely not what I was expecting, but it's entertaining as hell.
