Chris Kunitz (sp?) is an animal at forward. Despite low scoring, the man is just a beast with his forechecking and hits.

I'm in a hockey pool at work. Figured thats a good way to get me into hockey a little bit.

Any extremely hot goalies out there?

A big NHL bettor once told me

Don't worry about stats/numbers. A lot of times the winner is not always the best team but rather the hottest team or the one with the hottest goaltender. If you feel a team has caught fire, ride it. There have been numerous examples the last few years of 7/8 seeds making a deep run.

and

A hot goalie in the playoffs can not only steal games, but he can steal whole series, don't underestimate a hot goalie.

Suter will be on the red wings next year.
This is the best team Nashville has had.

The problem is identifying that hot goalie. Some of those deep runs were keyed by hot goalies who are usually pretty lousy (Dwayne Roloson... really?). ANY goalie can get hot.

REPEAT. ANY goalie can get hot.

The best goalie is more likely to get hot (Patrick Roy, Ron Hextall, Mikka Kiprusoff, Dominic Hasek all turned in ridiculous runs) but there are plenty of mediocre goalies who have done the same (Cam Ward, the Goalie who Must Not Be Named, Guy Hebert)

Well, gee. They only rigged the draft so they could draft Crosby, so I have NO idea.

What do I have in common with the Pittsburgh Penguins?
We'll both be watching the Stanley Cup Finals on television.

If Mike Smith keeps playing lights out like he has been, Phoenix can make some noise in the West
