Took the pats and the U49 tonight. Little worried about that number.

I did the the same but only half unit bets on each.

2-0 other games also:
Kc and the ravens, 2 units and 3 units respectively.

I good weekend altogether. Not many games played but won every one of them.

The Saints really suck in week 1 every year for some reason.

Small play on the Over 52 tonight, Saints/Nola.

Thinking about another small play on Denver, but I'm kinda basing that thought off of historic play, which is useless. I don't know shite about the Broncos this year, I just know that the Raiders are a freaking mess. Losing your best player 2 days before the opener can't be good for game planning, but they probably planned on him not being available anyway with the way the last month has gone.

But I can't bring myself to bet on the Raiders, so a half unit on the Broncs just for entertainment value alone is worth it.

Small play on the Saints (-6.5) and the O52.

Quick look into next week - love the Chargers -2.5 @ Detroit.

Still trying to figure out how/if I should hedge tonight. Have Saints -2 to close out my ties win teaser, $35/700. I can take Texans +7 with a shot to hit both of the saints win by 2-6 or I can risk less money on Texans ML at +250 but that opens me up to a loss if the Saints win by 1.

What says the gambling thread?

I would personally take Texans +3 offshore for about +170 and shoot for the half middle.

Put 50 bucks on Texans +7. If the Saints in by more than 2 you net 650 bucks. If the Texans win you net 15 bucks and come out ahead. I wouldn't risk much on the Texans and hurt your Saints payout since the Saints on Monday Nights in the dome is a pretty sure bet.

I’d put $200-$300 on the Texans +7 and hope for the middle

Found this story to be interesting

quote:

Points Betting’ Costs One New Jersey Sportsbook More Than $1 Million in NFL Week 1

One bettor made $600,000 by betting on the Ravens -6 against the Miami Dolphins at $30,000 a point. Another bettor made $169,100 by Points Betting on the Chiefs -4.5 against the Jacksonville Jaguars at $17,800 per point.

I took the Saints ML tonight going for my 36th winning bet in a row. Hopefully the Saints don’t blow the streak.
