I get your point but preseason games have almost always cost similar to regular season games. If anything I'm for the extra games because I'm basically already paying for them.
They'd have to basically restrict any kind of injury/roster restrictions and I'd be all for it.

Sounds like little league with forcing coaches to play their players for a minimum time.
ie, I wasn't against this in Little League but the NFL is just a wee bit different.

I’ve heard someone in the NFL came up with the idea of a 17 game season with each team having one neutral site game and 2 bye weeks and I want to say 3 preseason games. Thought that was interesting.

2 preseason games.
60 man roster
When fans say they want an 18 game schedule, what they're really saying is they want more weeks of football. I'd have every team play 16 games and have four bye weeks between week 3 and week 18 in a 20 week season. 8 teams would have a bye every week and the season would start in August
