Guarantee Tom Brady at like 50 is going to come in and smoke it to win a gold medal to with the 7 SBs.
Even guys like Brett Favre in his Late 40s and early 50s could still throw against air like Super Bowl MVPs. They just couldn't take the hits didn't want the grind anymore.
Hell Jay Cutler has been trying to put together a handball team full of recently retired NFL guys for years. Why not since it's in LA.

There's still a certain prestige to winning a gold medal, and this one should be easy for the Americans.
It will be interesting to see the teams of other countries. Some teams might be more competitive than expected. This is not conventional 11 man football and some teams might have a few shifty burners who are a bitch for anyone to cover in the open field in an unusual 5 on 5 game with no pads, no defensive front, no tackling, and more time together as a unit playing this specific style of football.
The U.S. players will not be as invested in this as the track and swim guys who see Olympic gold as the pinnacle of the sport.
Now don’t get me wrong. I think the NFL stars will likely win going away, but I would not be shocked if another country fields a team that can get a few jabs in and it’s not the 100-0 bloodbath it would be in real football.
We have all seen undermanned option teams hurt more talented defenses that were not as familiar with their style. We have also seen (before all the opt outs) better teams wet the bed in bowl games because they didn’t really want to be there.
I’m just saying… I wouldn’t underestimate some of the foreign teams. Anything they can do to pierce the armor of the Americans will be a victory for them, and just because you are the Wimbledon champion doesn’t necessarily mean you can walk right on the court and dominate the best pickleball player in the world because the sports are similar.

The St Brown's, Amon and Equamineous, can both play for Germany as they hold dual citizenship because their Mom was born there. Dalton Kincaid can play for Canada because of the same.
