If you were anything like me, your eyebrows raised considerably when you saw the 5-7 Detroit Lions jump out as the betting favorite against the 10-2 Minnesota Vikings for their divisional showdown in Week 14. After all, this makes the Vikings the first team since the 1970 merger to be eight or more games over .500 and still be considered an underdog against a club with a losing record (excluding teams resting starters).

Pumped for the Lions game today but still can't believe all the money giving them a favorite on the lines. Should be a good game.

I figure the logic is that sooner or later the ball has to bounce the other way in these one score Vikings games.

Ravens with an unblocked blitz get to Pickett, and he looks concussed.

This is a hell of a starting drive by the titans. 6 minutes and a TD.

Browns should have run the sneak for the first. Bengals catch a break.

Refs quicker to call an incomplete pass than a catch.

Huh?

I think it's a catch but I don't think you can overturn it.

The refs fricked Chase on that one

Not sure that one good view is good enough to reverse the call on the field though.

Why does touching the football only work against the kicking teams favor?

If it hits off a member of the punting team at the 40 and rolls to the 1 it would be brought back to the 40.

If it’s touched 3 times by a punting team within the 5, but then goes into the end zone. It’s a touchback though

It was clearly a catch...called out of bounds...reviewed...clearly a catch...and NOT overturned.

Refs control the outcomes.
