Defenseless receiver is such a meaningless term, it’s used whenever someone wants to justify a call
They want defenders to just let receivers catch the ball

Helmet to helmet hit and they call it defensive holding. If these refs were any more clownish they would be fired out of a cannon.

If a receiver lowers his helmet to brace for contact, helmet to helmet should be off the table. The defenders have had to learn to tackle differently to avoid penalties, it’s time for receivers learn to take hits without lower their heads.
