I'm a big Denver fan and I would disagree...Houston seems to be a legit QB away from being a legit contender. Bill O'Brien's system will probably suit him better. I don't want him to leave but it will be a better fit for him if he does go.

Wow that's 10% of the Jags salary cap on a D-lineman.

They had a ton of money they had to spend to get to the salary cap floor
They are apparently also going after Vernon and one of the top safety/corners
The coach/GM know if they don't make noise this year that it's house cleaning time

but it will be a better fit for him if he does go.
Houston has Nuke Hopkins, but nothing else. They can simply offer more money.
Denver has Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders. They can't offer as much money, but they can offer being a more immediate contender. They can offer an offense he already knows.

I'll give my arse if we can somehow bring Forte in. Brady deserves it!

Can you count on the ball falling your way as many times as it did for yall last year? I'm not discrediting them but I don't think what happened last year is some foolproof way to get to/win a Super Bowl or anything
And if you do think that, then why pay Os 15 mil a year to drive the offense in neutral? Let Chase Daniel and a rookie to be named later fight it out for that honor in camp for 1/4 of the price

Would rather Chis Ivory If we can count on Dion Lewis being what he was, but he'll be more expensive
Fortes contract won't be crazy, so I think the pats can get him pretty easily if they want him. Although no brainer signings like that never happen. so he'll end up in green bay getting 6 touches a game if that holds up

I like how many people point to Pittsburgh beating Denver the first time around and say they would've done the same the second time around, but Pittsburgh barely beat Denver the first time after a complete meltdown in the second half - minus TJ Ward and Darian Stewart. Sure, missing Leveon Bell and Antonio Brown hurt, but it hurt Denver missing their two starting safeties in the first game.

Offseason super champs will be a better competition this year than the actual super bowl was

Denver needs to address running back, offensive line and middle linebacker, or they risk really falling off the map in 2016.

Sure, having a dominant defense is a good way to get there. But having extenely poor to mediocre QB play is not. I mean a ton of yall games came down to a play or two or the ball rolled this way or that way. It was impressive, but it's not goin to happen every time. And I'm not just talking about the Pittsburgh game. A TON of stuff went y'all's way last year all season. And I'm pretty sure that horse shoe stuck up y'all's arse just retired (I'm kidding).
And maybe you are right there. Maybe you can count on that and maybe the same things will happen like they did this year, but that brings up my second question. If just any ole body can play QB for yall and you are contenders, then why throw down that cash for Osweiler?

Now that Peyton is gone, no one cares what happens to Denver.

Since Pat Bowlen took over, Denver has been to more Super Bowl than they have had losing seasons. Denver isn't going away anytime soon. He isn't in control anymore but the timeline is there.
