Paul is a great guy, but make sure he's paying attention during your lesson. He has a tendency to wander...

I do not want to advertise his rate, but what is the going rate? It seemed a bit high but if its worth it, then no problem?

Anybody else mind saying what they paid for a lesson with a pro?

ETA: Also, would he be good for a beginner or do you have someone else you would recommend?

Yeah, I knew Pauls rate, he told me. I just didnt want to put it online. So it appears that he is comparable so far..

Just got a shite ton of balls. Paid under $1 for each. Need to go to Academy and get some water balls for tight holes now.

$100 is high end (here) and $40 and below is low end...these are for an hour...$60 for 30 is only because he's with EW, that's why he charges so much.

Chris is a personal friend and past coworker, he's a great teacher and has helped me out some.

You say "here". Where is here? Should I go to Santa Maria, Copper Mill, etc and find a Pro there? If you say $100 is high, $120 seems a bit silly.

Great advice by all. Golf is like riding a bike you never forget just get rusty

1 FUNDAMENTAS. you have to have a good grip, stance, proper allignment,These are all very important. even Pros work on these, very easy to get outta whack

2 get fitted if you can it will make a big difference

Beaver Pro @BEaver Creek he's a member here and will be more than happy to help

It's a frustrating game good days and bad days I had one yesterday FFFFFUUUCKKK

I'm old but I'm wise

Ill try to get in touch with Beaver Pro. Do you happen to know what his prices are?

I have no doubt that the driver is good, we just dont see eye to eye.

IMO those nike irons you have aren't very forgiving for a beginner

I'm not saying you won't be able to hit them, but if you were shopping, I definitely wouldn't recommend them

Check the flex on all of your clubs too

If you're young and semi-athletic, stiff is probably the right fit for now

Thats exactly the problem. They have zero forgiveness. My FIl can take one and make it do exactly what he wants. Not me though.

Oldman, Guess Ill call Beaver an ask for any golf pro that responds to BeaverPro.
