Show me a motive & I'll agree to suspend him. OL have been doing that for decades. It's not right but it's hardly premeditated

You need to go to sleep. Assault with a deadly weapon? What the frick are you even talking about?> Charge him with a crime? What charges would you like him brought up on? Do you even understand what you are trying to argue? Why am I even asking you this? Do horses wear horse socks?>

He's an active tweeter, he would have tweeted about it considering he all of a sudden made it a big deal, hours later, acting like he heard something

That lineman weighs twice as much as Beckham.
I'm not sure why, but when watching both plays live, the Steelers lineman bothered me much more.
Given the complete lack of control the officials had in this game, Beckham's earhole of Norman was not totally unexpected, but still suspension worthy.
It was obvious from pregame and early game action what message the Panthers were sending, and it is my opinion that Beckham's response was also heard. And I'm with Ray Lewis on this one. The Giants don't know what being a team is.

Let's say this scrub that wasn't even dressed out did threaten him with a bat. At what point was this guy going to take Beckham out? Was this threat enough to justify his headshot on Norman in the third quarter? What did they do to Beckham in this game to make him feel his career was threatened?

The NFL also hasnt been suspending players for launching until very recently, so them doing it for decades is irrelevant.

WR's have been crack back blocking for decades

I just want to post this again, because it's the dumbest thing I have read on this site in several months
Not as dumb as this

I wish you would would just shut the frick up. It's football, sometimes people get pissed off and act like idiots
FIFY

Just saying, the practice hasn't fully stopped, but it explains the intent. It's usually just body blows, but that one specifically was weird timing because the guy was getting up and accidentally hit helmet to helmet

Exactly. Odell just got caught up in the shite talking, I'm positive that at no point he ever felt threatened, especially by a defensive player using a fricking baseball bat against him. This shouldn't even be a conversation

who committed a felony?
Seriously, since you have such a firm grasp of the law, I want you to reply to me and tell me which person committed a felony, what that felony was, and why they weren't charged with such felony.

It's not about feeling threatened that they were going to hit you with a bat. It's about standing up for yourself and fighting back. They threatened him before the game, the first series of the game he was thrown around and the refs just watched it happen. So he decided to be a man and take care of it himself. The refs are there to protect the players, and they didn't do their job. They are the ones that should be suspended. If a flag is thrown on Newman when he body slammed Beckham in the first series I guarantee the end result would have been different.

Obviously you don't know what you are talking about.
Assault in LA is defined as "the intentional placing of another in reasonable apprehension of receiving a battery."
A baseball bat can be used to cause death or great bodily harm, so yes it's a deadly weapon. Not saying it would be the actual charge in this scenario, but by definition it was assault with a deadly weapon.

Again you don't know what a crack back block is. What beckham did is not a crack back
Also crack back blocks to the head and neck are illegal now

So the headshot on Norman deterred the scrub from running out on the field in the third or fourth quarter to take Beckham out with the bat?

Who was assaulted?

Aside from the fact that this makes no sense and you aren't even in the right state, I still want to know why nobody was charged in this heinous crime

I'd agree with you if they did anything to him that would injure him. That "body slam" appeared less threatening than any regular tackle.

If you dumbasses were actually capable of reading comprehension...
I've never said obj should not have been punished or that his punishment should be reversed. I do think stub player should be disciplined as well as Norman.
