If don't matter if he was beaten or not, CBs get beaten all the time. If the WR don't catch the ball it makes the WR look WORSE not better.

I'm not necessarily OK with this, but for people to act incredulous because Norman and the Panthers are getting off scot free is naive.
If you want to know why Beckham has taken the brunt of the blame you can look at two things:
1) The ear hole shot was the worst action on Sunday.
2) Beckham's behavior was out of character compared to how he is traditionally viewed. Norman dragged Beckham down to his level and beat him with experience so to speak. That is going to cause people to question their original opinions of Beckham.

There wouldn't have been one.
However, he didn't catch that TD pass, did he? Perhaps Norman's "body slam" and the anti-gay remarks had something to do with that drop. Surely we can't give credit to OBJ for beating Norman without criticizing him for the drop.

This shouldn't matter. If anything, it should make him less likely to be punished.
