Irrelevant. If ND is #11/12, committee will just drop them to 13 to get #10 in. Just like the committee just dropped ND behind Bama and Miami despite ND not playing.
And they have an Alabama rule, it’s just not in writing. Bama beat a 5-7 team by 7 and moved up. Bama then became only the 2nd out of the past 88 conference championship losers to not move down at all, despite losing by 21 and rushing for fewer yards than UMass on Saturday.

It was a quote from a spoken press conference. The genius media writer is the one who used the wrong word.

Lightening may never strike again for a team to be so dominate. What a great team to be apart of. It’s a shame the committee had to put the breaks on there title run.
