Actually if the LSU uniform is the one I think it is, then it looks like our uniform may possibly be a throwback to the Y.A. Tittle days, or early Billy Cannon days.
Back when the helmet as old gold:
And the jersey was 'lsu' gold:
Back then we had the old gold hlemets, yellow gold jersey, purple numbers, and white pants.
If it isn't this, then we might look like GATech, but with purple instead of black.

My theory is:
___ TCU VT __ UF OU UT OSU Missou FSU
Miami and LSU will be either 1 or 4.
When you look at the full picture, the last two on the right have black socks and cleats. FSU and Missou will both be in black so that makes sense. The one third from the right has a red stripe on the pant (visible on the right leg) and a red stripe on the helmet, thus OSU. The fourth from the right has a burnt orange cleat on the left foot, UT. To the left of him, you see maroon cleats, OU, and so on and so forth.

And now that I look at the helmet stripe on 4, it looks Orange. So I'm going with LSU being the first on the left.

The only one I disagree with is Texas. The 7th one in line has stripes on the helmet and from the pics leaked that doesn't work.
I think the only definites are obviously TCU and Va Tech, Florida (due to notes above), Ohio State and Fla State (same pose as leaked pics).

i dont think we ever wore those gold jerseys. they esp didnt have cannon on the back of it

And it's either got to be Miami or UT because of the cleats. That still leaves LSU as either 1 or 4, and the fourth has black cleats. I don't think that would be us.

No, those are replicas for sure.
But I have been told that when Y.A. Tittle was quarterback back in the '40s (well before Cannon's time at LSU), that was our uniform combination. This was also before Dietzel had gone with the shoulder stripes. I also heard that we wore a myriad of different uniforms until Dietzel finally settled with one set, the one that has evolved to what it is today.

That would definitely be similar to the 40's style uniforms. I actually kind of hope they don't do it like that... I don't want to look like GATech. I'm still holding out hope for all-whites.

I think that would have to be a really DARK gold. Looks black to me, and look at the socks and cleats.
