i dunno why butler is going for offensive boards this half. giving up on them was effective in the 1st half

then why has the product gotten so shitty, only to get shittier every year?

it hasnt. the talent is more spread out and even more balanced. the lower tiered players are better now than they used to be. so you think that players are getting worse, but really they are just getting better.

This game is over IMO. Butler can't get the ball inside the 3 point line and has yet to show they can adjust. UConn is starting to run.

I think this is why SFP hates Butler so much: because they are so much alike. They both believe in themselves no matter what.

They have like 6 or 7 guys on that team who can shoot the 3 pretty well. 5 of them got hot at the same time, and they picked the best time of the year to do it. That's how small schools compete. Recruit a bunch of guys who can shoot 3s and jack up 30 of them every game.

Not at all, just the one and down rule keeps the name programs from developing and stockpiling talent like they used to.

I'm seeing a lot of similarities in your message board game and one Butler player's game. His name starts with S and ends with mith.

I don't think you'd make an 8-team tournament.

I was reading the Butler argument you were making and ended up replying to that one. Didn't realize we could see the exact post we responded to...just thought the poster we responded to was what showed.

THIS

and not all the top high school talent goes to huge programs because they can/will be seen wherever they go unlike the past where only big schools were televised

Yeah the 3 pt line and shot clock being what they are allows cheesy, less talented teams to compete.
