I am not that upset about losing tonight.
What I am going to be upset about is, simply because we are playing loyola, our very good season is going to be completely defined by one game.
Nobody will remember the houston buzzer beater, the big ten tourney banner, the 14 game winning streak to end the year, the sweeping of michigan state, even getting to final 4 when we are only expected to maybe be a round of 32 team.
the only thing this UM team will be remembered for, despite doing so much this year, is losing to an 11 seed in the final four.

To be honest, if Loyola wins the championship, no one will remember anything else about this year. Justifiably.

Why would they be the butt of jokes? Loyola is a great basketball team. This isn't like UVA losing to UMBC.
