I will never understand why Monty was fired. I always liked him. Seemed like Pels fan didn’t feel the same. And to replace him with Gentry. Did the Pels FO not see how that Phoenix stint fared?

At the time, it seemed like there was a ceiling with this team with Monty. With that said, guys like AD should be good enough to get this team to the playoffs despite terrible coaching given the collection of talent. If he can’t do that, then maybe he is not as good as some people thought.
