NBA Salary Cap set higher than expected (58 mill), helps Hornets

The NBA announced that the salary cap for the 2010-11 season will be $58.044 million and the luxury tax has been set at $70.307 million

This is higher than expected by a good bit. This helps the Hornets greatly, and means they are potentially about 4 million under the lux tax at this point.

Yeah frick yeah! The Heat may have gotten DWade, Bosh and LBJ, but we're under the luxury tax. Suck our dicks NBA.

...sounds like this was done just so the heat could pick up role players or give lbj, wade, and bosh bigger contracts.
