I was going to make one and then my team struggled to beat a team from New Zealand so.

Ayton looks very good.

I don't want to jinx anything... but Michael Carter-Williams looks like a legit rotation player.

P I will give you the first crack at assigning a nickname to the Melo at center lineup. Since I coined that tuck wagon last year.

Rockets on 15-0 with the Melo at center lineup. Turner did not have a shot until finally fouled when Gordon had to switch on to him.

I think just because it's not a big deal, it translates to not being a big deal on here as well

You mean he wasn’t making 10 million a year betting?? He sure acted like he did didn’t he

Ayton look?
Ayton has been impressive. The issue is against competent teams, PHX is going to have a hard time getting him the ball because there's not an NBA caliber PG on this roster right now. His game isn't fully refined yet, and a PG who can run P&R or drive, draw defenders and find him for easy looks would be nice. Bridges and Ariza will also suffer because of the lack of PG. PHX might win 25-30 with the current roster. Adding a legit NBA PG, even someone like Pat Bev (assuming he stays healthy), would probably improve the team by 10 wins.
It's also hard to draw conclusions from our games right now because Booker is still injured so he's not sucking half the defense away from everybody else. It's a new system. Half the team is either new to the NBA or hasn't played together yet.

Luka is going to be great.

I really hate the Hawks for not just picking and keeping him

He's significantly better than Melton, Okobo, Harrison or Canaan right now.
And PHX's goal seems to be to have the ball in Booker's hands a lot and have him develop more like Harden as a primary initiator. He just can't be counted on to do that exclusively right now. Having a guy who can defend next to him would also help.
My preference would be to cash in TJ Warren/Bucks pick/Picks + Filler for Kemba. But Pat Bev wouldn't be an awful stop gap.
