Let me rephrase that, I think his camp wants out of San Antonio, remains to be seen what Kawhi wants

There's a topic on reddit discussing it and it basically states Spurs doctors cleared him too soon and he got reinjured. They already did it once in 2012 iirc and that caused him to get a 2nd opinion. Those doctors haven't cleared him. He wants to rehab and wait til next year and sign the max for obvious reasons. He's rehabbing with embiids doc in new York. He communicates with pop and the team regularly.
All of that sounds plausible at the minimum.

So Pop is okay with it? If so, his press conference did a pretty good job of painting a different picture. Sounded like he was calling Leonard out even though I don’t think Pop would ever do that to somebody that he thought was actually injured.

From what I understand I don't blame him at all for not trusting Spurs docs, who fricked this up and got him to this point.
