Minnesota shooting 63% and down by seven after one quarter. Jesus fricking Christ.

We cannot sustain the shooting. Never will. We can only win with better ball movement, elongating turnovers, and doing better on the glass.

Look. Our ninth Turnover is 13 mjnutes.

I think Caruso gets away with more pushing/grabbing than anybody I've ever seen. What he's been allowed to do these last two series is wild. Maybe its because they've been having him guard dudes much bigger than him and just be a pest so refs have swallowed the whistle.

OKC needs to stop looking at the fricking refs every possession. it’s a physical game. they’re sloppy getting back on D bc they’re looking for a call that’s not coming. nut up and play

Both teams are doing it to some extent but yes OKC is worse. Just fricken understand they are letting the game go and deal with it.

Not sure I’ve seen a team shoot 66% from the field this late into a game and be down double figures.

Halfway through 2nd quarter and Randle, Gobert, Edwards, and Conley have combined for 9 points on 9 shots and 5 turnovers
Minny is lucky that the bench has came out and shot 75% from the field or this would be blowout city. OKC is out rebounding, out hustling, and playing better defense and the Minny bench has stopped this one from getting out of hand.

The NBA needs to save the replay of this game and make the refs watch it in their sleep. It’s not perfect but it’s pretty damn close. Call every game like this.

Yea they are lucky, but no way that can continue all game. They won't win with the bench carrying them.

I don’t think we collectively give enough credit to that one Thunder hater that downvotes every post from a remotely Oklahoma-connected account in every thread. Dude is the hardest worker here. Shout out to you whoever you are

I'm fine with the physicality of this game...I just want consistency. I don't want to have "playoff basketball rules". Call it this way all season. If it's called like this all year, who's to say that these 2 teams even make it here. Young teams like Houston, Orlando, Detroit, etc would probably benefit a ton by being able to play rougher and more physical.
Posted on 5/26/25 at 8:38 pm to NWLATigerFan12
100% agree. It should be like this every game. Would be a way better product.
If it’s too physical and leads to too many injuries, well, frankly 82 games in a season is absurd anyway
I know that’s a total nonstarter when it’s all about the $$$ though...

The consistency issue doesn't even have to go back to the regular season. They've called games 3 and 4 (so far) completely different than they did games 1 and 2.

OKC offensive rebounds - 9
MIN total rebounds - 10
If this keeps up, this game is over, which means series over. Gobert has one job...defense and rebound. Can't play a lick of offense. Can't make free throws. And OKC has 4 players with as many rebounds as him tonight.

Yeah this one is not looking good for Minn. They are having to work too hard for every shot.

If this is how Ant is gonna go out in a make or break game 4 at home, don't let me hear no more about him being the future face of the league and all that nonsense. He's been about the 7th best player on his own team tonight. Not to mention OKC.
