what? pull something from reality that supports such claim?
Harden leading the league in minutes? A coaching change because of the locker room not being on the same page? The almost trading of Howard (which at the time you suggested trading Harden and building around Howard)?Houston hasn't had a plan all year...
You're so far past trolling that any inkling of actual basketball acumen you could ever share is tainted...which is a shame, since you're dedicated to posting.

I look forward to hearing you bitch when Harden finishes outside the top 5 in the MVP vote and doesn't get a spot on the All-NBA 1st, 2nd, or 3rd team.

Harden leading the league in minutes is a coaching decision, Harden take plays off IS a decision by James to not wear himself out during the regular a season. The coaching change was due to a slow start because the team wasn't trying hard out of the gates..Hrrm wouldn't a team who doesnt give a shite early in the season be pacing themselves because they know its a long season and they run out of gas the season before? Use your noodle. And D12 wasn't ever gonna be traded and that don't have anything at all to do with the Players on the team not playing their best early in the season. Only way D12 was gonna be traded was if he was gonna agree to opt in for the next year of his contract and he was never gonna do that so the trade talk like most of your post, is moot.

You predicting a CC upset?

No I don't think so. Golden State is an ALL time great squad. Maybe the best I've seen in my day. No shame in losing out to them.

So you are saying the reason their record is so shitty is because they strategically and purposefully did not play hard or act like they cared, simply to "pace themselves"? Why? So they could stumble into the playoffs and face off against GSW as the 8 seed? Come on dude, even you cant justify that line of thinking.

Why?
quote:Well I think they would admit that they mismanaged the end of the season a bit, but hey it happens to lots of teams. Iyrc San Antonio lost the home court on the last day of the season last year bc they couldn't beat the New Orleans Pelicans.
So they could stumble into the playoffs and face off against GSW as the 8 seed?

Could definitely see this happening. Wonder if Clifford continues to have Big Al come off the bench. The East will be so much fun to watch with all these young teams on the come up.

What if Houston took the record season seriously, got the 2 seed and San Antonia beats GS then you don't have to beat GS to win the title.
Posted on 4/15/16 at 8:24 am to Boomshockalocka
So you are just going to ignore the 5 other writers who unanimously left Harden off their ballot?
Posted on 4/15/16 at 8:26 am to Aggie Fishfinder
If Harden doesn't make the All-NBA team then that's a travesty. He's 2nd in the league in scoring and 8th in assists.
He's averaging 29.0 ppg, 7.5 asst, and 6.1 reb.
The only other players in NBA history to average at least 29/7/6 are Michael Jordan, Oscar Robertson, and LeBron James.

Hey if he doesn't make 3rd team good for CC bc he will be pissed off like he was last off season and come back next season to win the players MVP.

He is a major defensive liability and he set the NBA record for turnovers in a season.
I feel like I'm taking crazy pills talking to some Houston fans. I live in houston, so I talk to a lot of them. But damn you guys are dumb when it comes to basketball.
