OK so they are playing their second poorest stretch of the season? Who gives a shite? You are so intent on trying to prove me wrong that you can't see the forest from the trees. They werent playing anywhere near their best ball at the end of the season, whether it was worse or second worse stretch doesn't mean shite yet that's what you want to argue. that's why you are a hack.

Boom can't even keep up with his own bullshite

Remember Boom's argument earlier in the season along the lines of that because the Spurs didn't fare well against the better competition in the early part of their schedule, they were not as good as their record?

That was my favorite argument people made about the Spurs in the '14 season
Spurs of course dominated the playoffs en route to championship #5

quote:You harp on MOV when Golden State was sitting starters v the Spurs and still blew them out the water. Yes lets pretend that had GS kept their starters in that the Spurs wouldve cut that lead and the MOV is accurate in this case. Stats are great but when you try to apply MOV to games that were blowouts with backups playing you show a real lack of acumen.
You use SAS vs GS in the regular season to say they'll win 1, yet HOU played even worse in the regular season vs GS, no wins and worst avg MOV. Make sense?

I know they won 60+, but it still feels like they were noticeably better in the playoffs than in the regular season.

He's the board piñata and has been for awhile. Endless entertainment

Is this a new word you recently learned? It seems like you try to use it as often as you can the last two months.

That isn't news. That's most seasons that the Spurs play. its the same argument boom is trying to use for the rockets. Except that the Spurs taking it easy never leads to them threatening to miss the playoffs. That's why he is just full of shite.

I mean those are the top 6 teams in the league, who else is there to beat boom?

They went on a ridiculous win streak in that regular season and started quite slowly in the playoffs vs. Dallas
Buy yeah after that they were on another level.

teph Curry, Klay and Green played 17 minutes or less each in their win over the Rox on Oct. 15th. The only starter from their team to play over 20 was Brandon frickin Rush!!! They were up 29 at the half.

What is their record on Christmas day of this basketball season though? That outweighs their W's IMO

Let us all remember that this very Rockets team got swept by the Nets this season.
