Spurs could've lost to the Mavs or had Ibaka played the first two games, to the Thunder. The Heat would have a three-peat, all this drama wouldn't be happening, and half of you would be calling the Heat the greatest team of all time.

The line between that and where we are now is a lot thinner than people realize.

Yea, except none of that shite happened

so...whats your point exactly?

When Rockets win it will be like 138-130. No defense

That would be one of the best defense front lines in the league to go along with a second team all-nba defensive PG

McRoberts is a good passer and can shoot threes. Birdman is the exact opposite.

People (fans, players, owners, everyone) are fickle, short-sighted, and prone to overreact.

or ray allen could've missed that miracle 3 and the heat would be 1-3 in finals and this would just be intensified. we can play this game too

well the one guy was saying that teams still couldn't challenge the Spurs like they were far and away the best team and just steamrolled everyone when they barely beat the Mavs and OKC stood toe to toe with them when Ibaka played.

LSU fans may have a reason to root for the Heat now.

Beverley/Bosh/Howard would be a pretty solid line-up defensively, even if Harden is a revolving door.

I think Houston's only weakness would be their bench at that point, and hell, even that won't be so bad.

I know you guys probably disagree with me here, but I think they need a true on the court leader, too.

Still, they'd be a 1 or 2 seed with that roster. The starting 5 would be ridiculous

There was nothing miraculous about how he shot that.

McRoberts is a younger, less tame version of Birdman

McRoberts has a mediocre perimeter game and is at least good for a few 3s. He's a poor man's Bosh and is his possible replacement. Birdman has virtually no offensive skills.
