The Suns of the mid 2000s back then should have given people more hints of the future.

that's a function of teams changing

there are lots of good big men in the NBA
if anthony davis were born in the 70s, he'd be dominating the post
luckily, he was born decades later and is playing a more efficient brand of basketball
big men are roll men, jump shooters, and rim protectors

And it's not the only way they score.

That doesn't explain Drummond, DeAndre, AD, Horford, Aldridge, KAT, etc.

There are many solid big men(Draymond, Horford etc). Davis, Blake and Cousins are the only ones who are very good and maybe Davis will be great someday. But they are vastly inferior to Dirk, KG and Duncan from 10 years ago or Shaq, Robinson and Malone from 20 years ago.
The elite big prospects who could of been as good as Dirk, Duncan, Shaq, Malone etc busting is the reason for the NBA being the way it is now.

really well b/c he was intelligent and very mobile
guys like ben wallace and alonzo mourning would have some major issues b/c they were way too limited

anthony davis is not "vastly inferior" to this lot
KAT will be right on that same level as AD
Duncan is the GOAT so there is that
you've severely overrated dirk
AD/KAT are the evolution of KG

Pretty sure he's talking about their offensive skill.

You think Jordan from the Clippers is better than Ben Wallace??? How about Dennis Rodman????

Compared to Duncan and KG and Malone...YES... Dirk is a shooting forward.. That's about it....

How about Magic.... IMO he is #2 behind MJ all-time.....

is that why ben wallace got abused in international play?
anytime he had to leave the rim area he was abused
he was the primary reason we were embarrassed in the 2002 FIBA world championships

Who cares about this... He led The Pistons to a 4-1 domination of the Lakers in 2004.... DOMINATION........
