Keselowski is a punk, but I really don't think he was at fault yesterday and carl's retaliation was totally uncalled for.
I always viewed BK's incidents as sticking up for himself, aka not rolling over for the veterans. But upon further review, BK has been in more than his share of accidents. Most I would still say that he had his nose in there first, but some are kind of wtf? I still say that was a bitch move by Carl yesterday, though.

Nascar Races are a BLAST
I went to Talladega one year. Had an awesome time doing the Sat. night thing, and getting all fricked up. Thought the race was just ok. It was really cool and loud, and I was having fun...then I realized I had 177 laps left to go. Got kind of old for me. We got to see a helluva race though...came down to the wire with DE Jr. and Gordon. Gordon won, and the very partisan DEJ crowd got pissed and started pelting his ride with bottles.

Also Montoya would have found a way to lose at ATL and then blamed someone else. He is the biggest bitch in Nascar.
Wrong dude. Montoya would have won the race and he's a mch better drive than half the guys out there. The man's actually raced in Formula 1, which most of those boys wouldn't be able to sniff Formula 1 if they tried.

quote:Back about 1999 or 2000 Montoya and Jeff Gordon took their respective NASCAR and F1 cars to Indy's F1 road course. The crews set them up, the drivers shook them down and then switched rides. Gordon came much closer to matching Juan's times in the F1 car than Juan did to matching Jeff's times in the 24.

Montoya is a good driver, but he isn't head and shoulders above the top half of the Cup drivers. If he was he would have multiple wins in the series by now.

I think we went the year before that. We had beautiful weather the whole weekend.

Yes!
Great way to say it. He is just like a woman. He whines, then sort of says the right words, then whines some more, then finishes with "that's racing."

And feeding us some bullshite line about respect.

He's far from the biggest bitch in nascar a la (Kevin Harvick,Carl Edwards and I could name many others.). It's obvious that no one hear will give him credit. Neither the less he will make the chase.

I went to the 2007 Spring race during Jr's last year with Bud as his sponsor. Gordon wins with Johnson coming in second. Gordon passed Earnhardt Sr's win mark that day. Gordon's car was hit by numerous cans and bottles of beer. That was probably the height of the angst between Jr's fans and Gordon.

I think that alot of people forget that Montoya has a top 5 finish in his 3rd cup race ever. How has the transition worked out for Hornish so far?
F1 is all about the money> it is the least competetive circuit in racing which kind of makes Montoyas win in that series impresive since he wasnt driving for ferrari. When you are talking about guys who have at least one win in the three biggest racing series you are talking about name like Andretti and Foyt. Pretty rare air. Now consider that Montoya is the only one to do it in the much more competetive modern era.

I'm not taking much, of anything, away from JPM; I am simply refuting the post saying that is is a better driver than anyone else on the Cup circuit. Just because he did well in F1 doesn't make him better than any of the rest. He has talent, I will give him that, but to say he is hands down better than Gordon, Johnson, etc. I can't agree with that, and I don't see how that arguement can even be made.
Jayski just reporting no suspension or fine for Edwards. Only penalty is a 3 race probation and he and Keslowski have to have a meeting with Helton and the other big wigs at Bristol before going on the track for practice.

Im not saying he's better than Johnson,Stewart and Martin. Now Gordon is up for debate imo.
