I bumped this for Muppet. After the Florida game I said that LSU did not play that bad, they just finally ran into a good team. Most of the Rantards and others laughed it off, but this is just another expample of where I was correct, and nearly everyone else wrong.

This was minor though, I bumped another early october thread on the Rant started by a LSU fan titled "Could OU beat LSU". I said Oklahmoa is a double digit favorite in my mind over LSU, Xenophon said I was an idiot and that no team is a 10 point favorite over LSU.

FWIW, there are a frickload of people (LSU fans at that) that also knew that LSU was not an upper echelon team this year. Taking a statement made on the Rant and making it look foolish is no accomplishment.

That's why I singled out Xenophon and disregarded the rest for the most part. Xeno posts here and is also a TD top-25 voter.

He's rational about 90% of the time, and then sometimes he falls completely off his rocker and says some outlandish shite. I can't take anything he says serious anymore.

So in early October he said that OU would not be a double digit favorite over LSU? Hell, at that time the jury was still out on LSU and not a lot of people realized how shitty they were. I could see that line being under 10. Of course it would be over 10 now.
